This coming week, the G-Team is flying over to France to work in the Hotel Royal Etoile Magda, in coordination with my good friend Robyn Karp (of Robyn Karp Interiors). We will be doing several faux finishes throughout the hotel during next week. Keeping with NYC time, we’ll be working overnights to transform the lobby and breakfast rooms with pearlized Venetian Plaster, as well as elegant French patinas and pieces of artwork!
The Royal Magda Etoile Hotel is situated on 7 Rue Troyon, steps away from the Champs-Elysées and the L’Arc de Triomphe- be assured that we will be taking advantage of our location and enjoying the sights!
Although we’ll be working hard, we’ll be playing hard, too- and some of it will be so much fun it doesn’t feel so much like work! I’ll be scouring the Paris Flea Markets (Les Puces de Saint-Ouen, which is huge and has over 120,000-180,000 visitors each weekend!) for fabulous finds for my clients (and most likely for myself, too…)
