“Now You Know” DIY Halloween Decor!

This is the last entry on how to make your own Halloween Decor! All of these activities are so fun to do with your kids and they cost practically nothing! As you saw in the picture of our last entry: how to make your own trick or treat candy basket, there was a funny-ghost character floating in the basket of candy! Creating BOO is simple, fun and takes no more than 5-10 min.

In order to create BOO, your own stuffed ghost, you need the following materials: white cotton or linen, stuffing, two different sized buttons (adds personality to the ghost), needle, thread and scissors!

Step 1: Fold your fabric in half and draw a simple outline of your ghost onto your white fabric. Then cut into both fabrics, leaving you with two sides of the ghost.

Step 2: Sew all edges of the ghost, leaving an opening at the top. Then stuff your ghost till he is all nice and full! Sew him all the way up.

Step 3: Sew your buttons side by side to each other, creating two eyes for your ghost. Optional: If you want to be able to hang your BOO, at the top of your ghosts head punch two holes, side by side, and fill the holes with the thread tying a knot at the top.
